We’re looking for a skilled Installation Technician to join us in creating seamless, inspiring AV experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wiring, equipment mounting, rack building, and commissioning of AV systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Read and interpret schematics, building plan sets, and project specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Install and configure AV equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, control panels, and related components.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to verify system functionality, performance, and alignment with client needs.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to integrate systems seamlessly within project scope.
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring a positive first-use experience.
• Adhere to company standards, safety regulations, and policies to maintain high-quality aesthetics and a safe work environment.
• Perform service and maintenance calls for existing systems, ensuring ongoing reliability.
• Maintain clean and tidy job sites, removing all empty packaging and containers.
• Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to team success.

• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in AV system installations, including wiring, device setup, rack building, and troubleshooting, with the ability to follow schematics and building plans.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of diagnosing and resolving issues with AV systems to ensure functionality and client satisfaction.

• Adaptability: Flexible in handling diverse tasks, supporting maintenance and service calls, and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Safety Awareness: Knowledgeable about safety regulations and comfortable operating equipment like forklifts, manlifts, or scissor lifts.

Work Environment

The Installation Technician will primarily work in construction settings, with tasks ranging from on-site equipment installation to off-site meetings and in-house rack building. The role involves frequent standing, kneeling, or crouching and requires the ability to drive a company vehicle, tow a trailer, and load/unload heavy equipment. You’ll operate machinery such as forklifts, manlifts, or scissor lifts, ensuring safety at all times. The position demands flexibility, blending independent work with collaboration alongside internal teams.

• Typical Hours: Monday through Friday.
• Travel: Frequent travel between job sites, with some trips requiring travel beyond 2 hours.
